Fixed Seeds – Ages 3+

The seeds are permanently built into the tray. Perfect for younger children: name the parts of the pumpkin, count the seeds, trace the fibres with a finger and compare the outside and the inside. A sturdy first introduction to how a pumpkin is built.

Loose Seeds Puzzle – Ages 6+

The seeds are printed separately and each one has its own recess in the tray. The seeds come in different sizes, so the child must look carefully, compare and find the right place for each one. A precise, focused activity for older children, ideal for homeschool science and nature study.
