From blossom to basket, one apple at a time. 🍎
This sweet apple tray turns early math into a hands-on harvest. A friendly caterpillar with ten little circles invites your child to count, place and check, while mini numbers help connect each quantity to its symbol. Simple, calm and beautifully tactile, the Montessori way.
What's included
Apple tray with a built-in caterpillar counting track (1–10)
Mini numbers [0–9 / 1–10]
[10 / 20] red single counting cubes
How to play
🐛 Feed the caterpillar. Place one red cube in each circle, counting out loud all the way to 10.
🔢 Find the number. Choose a mini number, put it in the tray and count out the matching amount of cubes.
🍎 Pick the harvest. Scatter the cubes like fallen apples and let your child gather and count them.
✅ Check the work. The numbered caterpillar lets children see for themselves whether they counted right, no correction from an adult needed.
What your child practises
One-to-one correspondence
Counting from 1 to 10
Linking quantity to numeral
Fine motor skills and the pincer grip
Focus and independent work
Why families and educators love it
Children learn best when they can touch what they count. Each cube is one unit your child can hold, move and see, so numbers stop being abstract symbols and become something real. It's a perfect autumn invitation to play at home, in homeschool or in the classroom.
