Leaves crunch outside, the air smells of cold rain, and somewhere deep in the forest a bear is very, very hungry. Before he curls up in his den for the long winter sleep, he has to eat. A small hand reaches for a blueberry. Click, it drops into his wide-open mouth. Then an acorn with a 4. Then four apples.

The Feed the Bear Counting Set turns the story of hibernation into a posting and counting game. Children feed the bear through his big open mouth, and when they lift his head, everything he ate is waiting in the den below.

It is a counting game, a nature lesson and a story your child will want to play again and again, all autumn and winter long.
